Dental Services During Covid Woodland Hills

What to Expect When You Visit Our Dental Office During COVID

Getting dental care doesn’t have to wait until the end of the pandemic. Our office has developed a series of safety protocols designed to ensure that our patients get the critical oral health care they need while being protected from exposure to COVID. At the office of Pearl Zadeh, DDS, our infection control procedures have always exceeded the recommended guidelines, but we’ve enhanced our safety measures even more during this challenging time. Your visit to our office may look a little different from your past appointments, but you can rely on getting the same high-quality, compassionate care you’ve always received from our team. Take a closer look at what you can expect during your appointment here.

Pre-Appointment Contact

Between 48 and 72 hours before your appointment, you will be contacted by one of our team members. During the call, we ask a series of health questions to assess your current symptoms, if any, so we can determine if it’s safe for everyone to move forward with your appointment. We will also pre-arrange payment for your visit, so that you can minimize your time in the office and have a contactless check-in and checkout process. This pre-visit procedure can be completed by phone, text, or email, but it must be done in advance, or we will need to reschedule your appointment.

In-Office Procedures

For your appointment, we ask that no one else comes with you to the office, unless you need a caregiver to attend. Social distancing is required in the waiting room, and masks are required for all patients and caregivers. Your temperature will be taken when you enter the office, and you’ll be asked to wash your hands and use an oral pre-rinse before your exam. Please don’t bring anything to your visit that is not necessary for the appointment. Our team will all be wearing PPE, and you will notice additional cleaning procedures, including fogging, during your visit.
